lets not talk about that : / So, we'll concentrate on the jics :) If you missed any previous posts, than to update, i put in the Flta-2's, their flagship coilover. These things are worth every penny. It makes the car track so well, its unbelievable! First place we took it was in to the mountains (if you can call them that) but the roads going through it are soo much fun its worth going out of your way for. There is absolutely ZERO body roll in turns. I was half backing out of it in turns because either: 1. There are a lot of deer up there. 2. I didnt realize these made such a huge difference and wasnt confident at first, and 3. i was about to toss both me and eric out the car before the car actually gave out once i got used to them :) The car is a little too low right now, so that will have to be adjusted, but after a few trial and error adjustments on the rear we said fuck it, and just took it out for a drive. The dampening adjustments are set to 10 in the back and 8 up front, with a little more spring compression on the rears as well. Under normal driving conditions these things feel great. I honestly was a little dissapointed they werent stiffer, but with more spring compression or dampening, i think i might be able to achieve that. and even if i cant get a stiffer feel out of them, they dont give under hard turns and no nose dive under hard braking, which is what matters. I just prefer a race car feel in a sports car. so, heres a couple pics, nothing great, just a few shots after the install. Oh, and i will add a few things to damons write-up, so hopefully everything will be covered.

For instance, if Pac-man affected kids born in the eighties, we should by now have a bunch of teenagers who run around in darkened rooms and eat pills while listening to monotonous electronic music. |
